How to Get Started
3rd Space is a small private martial arts club, not a giant corporate gym. We want all of our members to receive engaging, direct, and personal instruction in small classes. In order to maintain high standards and give all of our members enough space, we limit the number of students in each program (around 10 per program).
If you want to join our club, we want you to be here! Please understand that our programs have limited space. The program you want may currently be full. If that is the case you will have the option to join our waiting list or you can join another program and move over when a spot opens up.

A Note About CostS
“So, what does it cost?”
Like many answers in life, it depends…
Our rates are determined in part by our members and are occasionally adjusted. Our fees are based on our shared vision for the club and what amenities we choose to add. IF WE WANT AN INFLATABLE SUMO PIT, WE SHALL HAVE IT!! (We just have to pay for it.) So the current rate is subject to change. But we don’t require contracts, so you’ll never be stuck paying for anything that you don’t want.
Different programs and events may require additional costs for equipment, training materials, special events, or other variable expenses. So the answer also depends in part on what you want to study.
As a private club rather than a corporate school, our memberships rates are usually lower than most martial arts schools and similar acitvities. Sometimes they are a LOT lower. But, as a club we are looking for people that are truly intersted in what we have created, not just people looking for the cheapest option.
So, for all those reasons, we don’t put our current membership rates on the website. If you are intersted in the club, contact us, and we will be happy to set up a club tour and provide you with the most up to date information.
